Eucla

Friday at Eucla.  Woke just before five am and we both decided to,lie in...but Bart having problems with his shoulder so he did his usual stuff and got up to make his first cups of tea.  I decided to get to the showers before the rush as the caravan park has more than twenty people here and the motel,is full!  It is amazing how many people are traveling at the moment!  We knew that the east has travelers competing for spaces everywhere but the extent of the numbers is quite impressive and says a lot for the economy of grocery providers as well as all who purchase coffee to go and meals...and those on bicycles or motorbikes etc who want rooms.  Am excited to be approaching the Bight today for more photos to compare the ones taken on our trip home to WA in 2011

Well the sights today included a black wild dog, three cyclists ..all on their lonesome...the Bunda cliffs...meaning the Bight but found that changes to viewing areas had changed and the views were great but not as close.  Am happy with the shots I got but would like to have had more.  The clouds looked menacing for a while but dissipated thank goodness.  We met the Harris family from Boyip Brook who knew staff and families from St Mary's.  We are camping out tonight before heading into Ceduna as bookings have been chocka block due to school holidays.  It will be interesting to see if our indigenous people have been successful in getting themselves on track in Ceduna as our previous visit indicated lots of drunkenness and street violence and behavior similar to what we see in Kalgoorlie where children are not at school and look unkempt and hungry.  Sometimes we have in the past viewed people defecating in the street and fornicating as well as sleeping and fighting.  So sad, so hopefully Ceduna had worked hard to makati ate all their citizens wot be proud and show off their lovely seaside town!
